First LiuGong Green Alliance Water Well Project Successfully Completed

On August 27th, the first phase of the LiuGong Green Alliance water well project was successfully completed.
The initial phase of the LiuGong Green Alliance water well project is located in the Mabeskaraal Stadium, Moses Kotane, North West Province, South Africa. The well reaches a depth of 150 meters and is equipped with a state-of-the-art solar-powered water pump. It is now fully operational, providing a stable and clean water supply to over 25,000 households in the Mabeskraal area.

Mrs. Nketu Nkotswe, the Mayor of Moses Kotane emphasized the profound impact this project will have on the lives of Mabeskraal villagers. "We are very grateful for everything LiuGong has done for us. With this well, villagers no longer have to travel long distances to fetch water."

Mr. George Mabe, the representative of the Mabeskaraal Village, expressed his sincere gratitude for LiuGong's donation: “This well not only provides us with clean water but also brings hope to our community. With LiuGong's support and assistance, we are confident that we can create a better life for our villagers.”
Last year, LiuGong launched the Green Alliance Initiative to support public welfare projects in Africa. This year, the project started in South Africa and is planned to be expanded to other countries, aiming to provide clean water to local residents and lay the foundation for a healthy and sustainable life for African people. Li Yi, General Manager of LiuGong Africa Region, stated: “By utilizing solar energy, we help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reliance on non-renewable energy sources, demonstrating the LiuGong Green Alliance's commitment to environmental sustainability.”
