Recently, the radiation chamber B of the 4# cracking furnace of the Tarim 1.2 million tons/year Phase II ethylene project was successfully hoisted at one time, and the fifth hoisting of the radiation chamber of the cracking furnace of the project department was completed efficiently. Zoomlion's crawler crane successfully completed the task again, marking that the project department's on-site construction task has taken another step towards the established goal.

The radiation chamber B of the 4# cracking furnace, as the core component of this hoisting, has a huge size and weight that puts extremely high demands on the hoisting work. The radiation chamber is 33.83 meters long and 4.06 meters wide, with a net weight of 193 tons, and weighs 219 tons during actual hoisting.

In order to ensure that the hoisting process is foolproof, the project leaders, technicians and hoisting team carried out careful preliminary preparations. They studied the hoisting plan in depth, fully learned from past experience, and conducted multiple detailed inspections and confirmations of the on-site working environment and hoisting preparations. At the same time, in order to ensure the safety of the construction personnel and the accuracy of technical operations, the project team also conducted strict technical briefings and safety training for all participants.

This time, the hoisting continued to use the "three-machine coordination" hoisting method of Zoomlion's 800-ton crawler crane as the main crane, and the 320-ton and 120-ton crawler cranes jointly slid. At 9:37 a.m., the three cranes lifted the radiation chamber to the predetermined height smoothly, and the anti-corrosion personnel completed the paint repair work on the contact surface between the support and the bottom of the box. At 9:57, the hoisting operation officially kicked off. Under the precise command of the hoisting commander, the three cranes worked closely together. After more than an hour of intense work, at 11:15, the radiation chamber of the 4# cracking furnace B was accurately placed on the predetermined foundation, achieving a complete success of the hoisting operation.

The total investment of the Tarim Phase II Ethylene Project is as high as 29 billion yuan, and it is a key project in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region's 14th Five-Year Plan. The successful hoisting of the radiation chamber B of the 4# cracking furnace has laid a solid foundation for subsequent construction. Zoomlion cranes will continue to escort the project construction process and contribute to the creation of high-quality and high-level ethylene projects.
