The main task of the first crane of XCMG XCA900L8 is to undertake the maintenance and replacement of impeller bearings and blades of 15 wind turbines.

The construction was difficult this time. The wind speed at the dismantling site was too high, and the dismantling height exceeded 110 meters. The blade length was more than 60 meters, the weight exceeded 20 tons, and the total weight of the impeller exceeded 45 tons... Under such working conditions, the rigidity and toughness of the boom, the overall stability and accuracy of the crane were greatly tested.

"Hook, fine-tune, rotate, drop..." A series of difficult actions are completed accurately under the control of the operator like flowing water.

"Very good. I never thought that domestic cranes could be so efficient!" Crane operator Master Liu said with satisfaction, "The attendance rate, work efficiency, and control accuracy are indeed good. At present, it takes an average of two days to dismantle a wind turbine. Moreover, the XCA900L8 is much more compact than the imported cranes I have driven before, and the transfer is fast and flexible."

Since entering the market, XCMG XCA900L8 has achieved impressive results in urban construction, chemical industry, wind power and other fields with its extreme structural design, super high attendance and work efficiency.

It is understood that the project has an annual online power generation of about 589 million kWh, saves about 180,000 tons of standard coal, reduces about 500,000 tons of carbon dioxide and about 94 tons of sulfur dioxide, and has made positive contributions to the development of local new energy industry and capacity application.
