From July 15 to 18, the SANY Africa Division Key Customer Return Summit was held. 102 customers from 35 countries in four regions, including South Africa, Nigeria, Angola and Kenya, visited the SANY factory and started an in-depth communication journey with the theme of "Trust, Cooperation and Win-Win".

This "100-person group" of African customers returned to the company for inspection, which is the largest foreign customer return activity in the history of SANY Africa. The "100-person group" visited Kunshan, Changsha, Zhuzhou, Ningxiang, and Shaoshan Industrial Parks to appreciate SANY 's intelligent factories, strong manufacturing capabilities, and deep technical reserves. On July 15, the "100-person group" came to the first stop of this summit-Sany Heavy Machinery Kunshan Industrial Park. The inspection team visited SANY Heavy Machinery's global R&D center, micro-excavation lighthouse factory, and intelligent workshop. Through a close visit to the intelligent factory, they felt the production process of the intelligent production line in all aspects.

Chen Jiayuan, Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, expressed his sincere welcome to the African guests who came from afar. On July 17, at the SANY Xingsha Industrial Park, the national flags of African countries fluttered in the wind and the red booms of SANY pump trucks were erected high. The delegation personally felt the charm of SANY 's No. 18 Lighthouse Factory and witnessed the outstanding style of SANY 's full range of products at the subsequent equipment tasting meeting.

Afterwards, the delegation came to the SANY Silicon Energy Zhuzhou Industrial Park and witnessed the entire photovoltaic industry chain process from crystal pulling, slicing, batteries, modules to photovoltaic power stations. The production efficiency of SANY Silicon Energy's photovoltaic modules and the innovative technology and excellent quality of photovoltaic intelligent manufacturing equipment won high praise from African guests.

In the afternoon, Xu Ming, senior vice president of SANY Group and first director of overseas operations headquarters, solemnly introduced SANY 's development history and equipment family. A series of wonderful presentations on mining, wind power, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, and energy storage products gave the delegation a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of SANY 's new energy layout such as "wind, solar, hydrogen storage".

On July 18, the delegation visited the SANY Intelligent Heavy Truck Industrial Park, SANY Heavy Machinery Ningxiang Industrial Park, and Shaoshan Blade Factory. Face-to-face exchanges with core personnel of each unit, in-depth discussions on products, services, channels, etc., to fully understand SANY 's strategic layout in multiple tracks.

At the business dinner on the 17th, Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, delivered a speech, expressing warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the African guests from afar.

He pointed out that China-Africa friendship has a long history, and SANY equipment has a long history of construction in Africa. Since the first export of graders to Morocco in 2002, SANY has been deeply involved in the African market for more than 20 years. Africa is an important market for SANY 's overseas business. With the continuous deepening of Hunan's cooperation with Africa, SANY will further increase its development of the African market and make greater contributions to the construction of Africa.Xu Ming introduced that SANY has always adhered to the corporate value of "customer first" and regards the construction of overseas service parts system as a top priority. It looks forward to establishing a closer and more efficient cooperative relationship with African customers in the future, creating value for customers in all aspects such as products and services, and continuously improving customer satisfaction.

Today, SANY has 15 subsidiaries in Africa with more than 200 employees. SANY equipment is available in more than 50 countries and regions in Africa, and is involved in almost all major engineering projects such as the Merowe Dam in Sudan and the East-West Expressway in Algeria, setting off a wave of "building a beautiful new Africa".

In April this year, the memorandum of cooperation for the 30MW photovoltaic power generation + 60MWh energy storage project signed by SANY Group and the Zambian government has become a model for SANY 's new energy layout in Africa and even the world.

In 2024, sales in the African region are expected to exceed 4 billion yuan, and historical cumulative sales will exceed 20 billion yuan this year.
