Recently, the last hanger of the Ishim River Steel Arch Bridge, a key control project in the Astana Light Rail Project, was successfully completed. The Astana Light Rail Project is the first urban light rail line in Central Asia, and the key control project is constructed by LiuGong Ovm.
LiuGong Ovm provided key products and construction technical guidance services such as OVMGJ15-12 steel strand bundle extruded cables, anchors, expansion joints and intelligent tensioning equipment for the Ishim River Steel Arch Bridge. The OVMGJ15-12 steel strand bundle extruded cables have won high recognition from the project party for their small size, excellent fatigue resistance and outstanding anti-corrosion performance.
The Ishim River Steel Arch Bridge is the core controlling project of the Astana Light Rail Project. The main bridge part adopts a 155-meter bottom-supported basket arch bridge design. The arch ribs and main beams are both steel structures. This design is the first of its kind in the construction of local and even domestic rail transit bridges, and has extremely high technical content and innovative value.
In addition to the Astana light rail project in Kazakhstan, LiuGong Ovm has also participated in the construction of more than 20 projects in Kazakhstan, including the Bukhtarma Reservoir Bridge, the Astana Esil River Bridge, and the Astana Bypass 30-36 km railway overpass.
